So what if it's lip synced for a studio appearance... sometimes you can't have all your musicians or maybe you come down with a cold etc... it isn't a big deal at all.. just enjoy.

Anyone doing 10 minutes of research can realize that Chris Isaak has an amazing live performance. That being said, it's very likely that the shows producers required him to lip synch it. This wouldn't be the first time this has happened, Nirvana comes to mind amongst many others.

This is lip synced. There is a bass line being played, and no one, including the keyboard player, is playing it. Plus, out-of-sync audio would still rhythmically mirror the visuals, which this is not. Also, the sound very "studio." Frankly, it doesn't matter how good of a singer the artist is, and Chris can really sing (I've seen him live), TV studios use backing tracks for engineering convenience. Oh, and listen to the real mic sound kick in after the song ends.
