That's why I no longer believe in bands... only albums. In my mind it frees up the artist to do whatever he wants, and I'm free to like it or not like it, but not to tell him he is wrong! People are so afraid to NOT like what an artist does if they have liked them for so long, because they then believe that some how they have been wrong all this time for ever liking them to begin with... "Scream" is just another example of an artist doing something new, and the average old school fan blasting them because they aren't putting out the same stuff they have put out for the last 10 albums. I hate it when music fans constanly try to keep an artist in a well defined predictable box! It shows how simple minded they are. If anyone else had come out with this music, then it would have been accepted & embraced.. but Chris Cornell? "He shouldn't sound like this!" That is so stupid to think!
