I went to a concert he held on my college campus back in the 90s. The show was awesome and I got to meet him after the show. He was a sweetheart and a true gentleman. My husband hadn't gone to show with me and Mr. Cagle was concerned about me having to walk across campus after dark. He offered to have one of his band members walk me home to our apartment but my husband arrived about that time. It was such a sweet gesture.

He's talking about the place Laredo.The guy who commented about the wheels representing her thinking doesn't understand what the phrase "the wheels in your head are turning" means because if he wanted it so "slow" the wheels in her head it would mean she isn't thinking much about it and would leave. He's saying when she enters the city limits and starts driving by all the places, he wants her to remember all the memories they shared and for it to slow her down from leaving (wheels of her car), and that he wants the place they met to be the furthest she gets away.
