Dear Chloe, What a great talant you have for Hank Marvin style playing I am delighted to hear your Shadows music. I was 15 in 1960 when Apache was relaesed. It took a few years to get a Strat, Vox AC 30 Twin Amp, and a 'Copy Cat' echo unit. In those days I could only buy the record and try to listen to what Hank was doing, no videos no TV, no smart phones.I am now 70 and still play a bit with backing tracks, however I must confess you have a better grasp of Hank's technicques than I have after 50 ish years playing Shadows stuff. Well done Chloe, and it's great that the Shadows music will live on in your generation. I do hope you will study classical guitar too, you have a lifetimes work ahead of you. Very good playing. I think Hank used the neck pickup for this tune though which gives a warmer tone.

Note perfect, what a fantastic talent. This rendition is about as close to the original recording as you can get, without some of the quirky little riffs that Hank added later, when performing this number in more recent years. Brilliant!

Hi Chloe that was wonderful even though it did not sound very much like the way Hank played probably because he used a different guitar and different strings. Bet your mom was not even born yet when that song became the Shadows No 1 hit in 1963!
