I agree 100%. One of my friends didn't even know this was based off a Nas song. The beat is such a Nas beat, and the original is one of the hardest songs.

"Take It In Blood" is one of the most slept on hip hop tracks in my opinion, i've always thought that. Never could I put this ahead of the Nas one, but this right here is great. Chip is that dude lately, he makes good hip hop.

ya I was for sure it was BM but it's not. I thought I posted a comment back saying it's not...but a nas "take it in blood" song says its Kool Keith from the Ultramagnetic MC's 'Ease Back.' I checked out that ease back track and that line is in there...but it's not the same tempo as this. I like this way better. U. MC's are old school though. I would've bet my life on this being Biz though.
