This is great power pop AOR. I know a lot of these type bands from that era. Very few had very much popularity outside the locale or region where they publicly performed. They got little or no radio airplay which would have been salvation to many in a lot of instances. The fact is the vast majority of this society prefers sedate and calming type cerebral stimulation concerning their musical experiences. They have no wish to be jolted into moving their dead asses. They would not play one of these type LP's if you gave it to them, much less ever buy it. That is the audience the radio media with advertising as it's main concern anyway has always catered to. These bands therefore never had accessibility to the small but avid record buying segment of this society that does enjoy this type music. All this also conveniently fits into an overall system that wishes only conformity unto the system. Nothing that stirs the masses.
