I asked Ian McCulloch from Echo and The Bunnymen why they never play in STL. while drinking a couple pints of beer at a pub in Chicago next to a club called the Metro. Ian states he never heard of St. Louis. So sad that a city still stuck on classic rock and modern sheeple pop. This town missed out on great alternative music from the 80's. China Crisis was a great band and I doubt they would ever play here. I assume no radio support back then and now. I am so glad I grew up on the west coast and was exposed to great music other than the shit the the mainstream radio crams down our throats yesterday, and today.9 years ago
