my husband and i refer to this song as a "stalker" song, but only in fun! there are many like it, but this one is ours! lol LOVE this song, even own the 45 single (think it belonged to my li'l sister, but she hasn't claimed it as of yet so it is still mine!) thanks for this reminder of great '80s music!!

I also love this song, but if someone does not like it, that does not affect my opinion and taste for this song. If someone said it sucked- well that is their opinion. Can't people have opinions and taste other than yours.

RIP Brian "Too Loud" Macleod. Chilliwack, the Headpins and Chrissy Steel, you were a musical genius.

darn right, long hair on men is drop dead sexy ;-) Further, this latest trend of bald heads gives me the creeps!

there still should be hair....men had long hair for millenia and in the modern era (an offshoot of the repressive control freak Roman Empire which would cut off hair of slaves and defeated enemies) we are once again in a 'crew-cut' mentality of social control...I say the hell with what society and twisted biased crap public opinion says and let your damned hair down and be part of nature! Cool song too BTW! haha

Just my opinion, I mean no offense: I haven't heard this since it came out, and I remember it being much, much better. There's material here for a tight, kickass recording with a little edge to it, but this isn't it. Way overproduced and smoothed out. That slathering of synths doesn't help. The SCTV version really is better than this, even if they were intentionally doing it badly. At least it had urgency.

@RoboticDragon This is POP not Rock...they didn't play CHILIWACK on AOR radio stations back then. BTO, APRIL WINE, TRIUMPH, those were the Canadian ROCK bands you heard to name a few....but NO Chiliwack.

This is one of my top 10 all time favorite songs - it's on my MP3 player whenever I go biking - thanks for uploading this great treasure!

I am discovering a lot of Chilliwack music that the radios just don't play and never did. I encourage every Canadian out there to get your records out and listen to them...every song.

@rknrne I love this band, this is a super canadian rock band, power house city, this band and the many others like them are distinctly canadian and sound nothing like any other countries rock groups.

i was in the 6th grade when this came out, and it was 1 of the first tunes i learned how to play drums to..now, almost 30 yrs later , i'm a professional live and session musician, and producer !...1 great song makes a difference in every musicians life, no matter what walk of life you come from !..

Pretty good clip, EXCEPT for the superfluous audience noise. Who was the dumbass who thought it would appealing to have girls squealing over the music on these kind of things? Though I guess it's not as bad as the some of the old Ed Sullivan stuff, where the audience noise threatens to drown out the music.
