I'm really not into going on rants but I really just wanna say this. Children of Bodom has been my favorite band since I was 16. I'm 25 and I love and appreciate EVERYTHING they do. Fuck all these so called "fans" that bitch and shit on the band. Wwaahh it doesn't sound like follow the reaper/something wild/hatebreeder. As a guitarist of 14 years, I can safely say that none of these cunts are musicians, nor know anything about music. Saying that they want another follow the reaper etc. is so ignorant and small minded. So you're basically saying you want to hear the EXACT same thing that has already been done. Goes to show how creative your small mindedness is. There's a difference between changing sound and just maturing. So many bands have changed their sound of the worst. Bodom never abandoned their roots. They've always had that "bodom" sound. Just because it's not neo classical like their first three ablums doesn't mean shit. It's still balls out melodic death metal and immediately identifiable as bodom. I support bodom in whatever it is they're doing because I am a genuine fan. I buy the albums, see every show within a three hour drive and give them nothing but praise when talking about them. I'm not trying to talk myself up, it's just the fact that I love this band and show my appreciation. I've seen them four times, and every time I'm in the front and center because I want to get the full force. I saw them in November with abbath, oni and exmortus. After the show I hung out by the tour buses and got to meet alexi, hennka, janne and jaska. I shook their hands, got my ticket signed (didn't even ask cause I don't understand autographs, they offered), and got to talk to them for ten minutes. Really chill dudes. It was an absolute honor and privilege to meet my favorite band at last in the flesh. I told all of them thank you so much for the music and to never stop shredding. If you prefer the old stuff, great. But don't troll on a band you supposedly like and shit on their new stuff. FUCK OFF! Mic Drop
