"Vote For Me" by Joe Walsh is a good tune as well. I believe (according to what I've been abe to find) that most of Chicago was under the impression that thoughtful people would see what in retrospect has been a pretty nasty slide toward the neo-fascist/nationalist right without being hit over the head. (Like "State of the Union" for example....) They were disabused about a lot of things over that turn of the decade mark, as were we all. The country in '78 was decidedly crappier by '82...
