Robert Lamm is singing lead. Peter Cetera and Donnie Dacus both sang background on "My Life" by Billy Joel

Wow, I forgot what a great tune this is! Bobby Lamm wrote so many gems that weren't 'big hit singles' - Goodbye on V is my fave Chicago song - though he did write about 10 Top 20 hits as well. IMHO this is the last great Chicago LP, though I really like Stone-Sysiphus, and 36 is also really good

A momentary lapse back into greatness. Always wondered why it wasn't this way more. Robert Lamm is outstanding.

Proof that Chicago DIDN'T go downhill with Donnie................they went downhill after they were dropped from Columbia.

I also think that Donnie Dacus wasn't such a terrible replacement for Terry Kath - they did worse with Bill Champlin. Danny Seraphine says in his book that they didn't really make enough effort with him and were generally too bereaved to help him settle in.

I can take or leave this song, but it's definitely one of Bobby Lamm's best vocal performances

And his vocals are simply astonishing as always. The boys reached new heights on this album, and it makes one wonder how it might have sounded if Ter had not been taken all too soon.
