Tower of Power

Got To Get You Into My Life cover verzia piesne Beatles z albumu Revolver v podaní americkej rock jazzovej skupiny CHICAGO v roku 1982 v Dortmunde v NSR.

The song that started it all. Parazaider imagined a rock band with horns, hence CTA

These guys were at a very low point when this video was taken. Cetera was fucked up on drugs as were most if not all of the other guys. This is an example of the period where they sold out. When they recovered they made millions just like reo speed wagon did when they sold out. 70's rock bands that carried on to the 80's were often cheaters. Chicago was the worst. Enjoy your money phonies

Pete's haircut and vocals are just wrong.

How different Cetera's voice sounds in the lower part of his range! I'd give my right eye to have seen Chicago with him singing as well as he did by this part of his career and also still ripping the bass.

I think they were thinking of bigger salaries for the 7 actual members. However, shame on CHICAGO for not make Chris a permanent full-time memeber.

Is this a response to someone else's comments or are you asking a question?

Chicago doing this song just makes sense.

The beauty of this version is that they are not trying to be the Beatles. Great job.

This was their 3rd encore number in 79 in Johnson City TN. Great show.

Chicago would encore with this tune back in the early 1980's. I thought they did a decent cover of the Beatles tune.

In the 70's they would often do this as their encore number

I spoke wit a couple members after shows in Lake Tahoe and the now defunt Konackti Harbor and was told that they replaced Chris with Dawayne because he couldn't sing. Of course, Dawayne was replaced with Keith because Walter wasn't fond of him boinking his daughter. ;-)
