Filmed in Los Angeles (Culver City), November 26, 1974. Brilliant, intense performance. Masterfully written by the great Robert Lamm.

Kath never looked healthier than he did during this show, filmed in 11/1974 and shown as a Dick Clark New Year's special a month later. At their final show together just three years later in 12/1977, he was barely recognizable. Damn shame.

Peter Cetera always sang in the song. Bobby Lamm is replacing Terry Kath and he sounds closer to Kath than Cetera

It's incredible how much Peter Cetera sounded like Terry Kath! Great singers the both of them. Terry Kath is missed.

People rightly talk about Kath as a driving force in early Chi. But there would be no Chi without Lamm's songwriting. Wrote 7 of their first 9 hits, almost all of CTA and V. Fair to say though that part of Lamm's songwriting genius was being able to write to highlight others' talents - Kath, and the horns, etc. Together Lamm, Kath and Pankow made this group. Apparently Bobby and Terry were great friends, not sure if Lamm ever totally got over his death

Peter Cetera sounds like he could have been in the Bee Gees. Not a criticism, just an observation.
