Should have held on to Donnie.

Energetic performance, of course the band was operating on a potent mixture of alcohol and drugs at this time.

Got to give to Dacus, it took guts to try and fill Kath's shoes.

Don't condemn someone because tthey have emotional issues or even a real medical chemical imbalance which can cause tragedy for the grace if god there goes you terry could not be replaced many people commit suicide unfortunately its easy for someone who does not want to die to throw stones if you want to you think differently

It might have been a part of the same tour, not sure, but I saw Chicago live in Central Park in NYC August 1978. Outstanding. #chicago #live #25or624

I love the job Donnie did here...! He had amazingly tough shoes to fill. How many of you great musicians on this thread can land a gig even close...or even play a instrument...Ass-clowns...LMAO! Check Donnie out in Hair...I'm a long time Donnie Dacus fan so screw off...

By the way: It's Donnie Dacus. Perhaps he should have apologized not to be fat and so drunken he shot himself without wanting it?Chicago choose him because he was very good and because he wasn't a second Kath. And then from the very first moment they hated him for not being Kath.I prefer Dacus for different reasons.

I'm a big Transit Authority Cetera fan, but he's losin' it this time. Sluring his vocal big time and forgeting the lyrics.Another thing .... If Kath had still been alive he would have shot this guitar player here, instead.

What were they thinking in hiring Don. Square peg for a round hole with Don trying to bash it in with an over the top performance. Good guitarist but a wrong fit for that band and their brand. A lot of other clips debate Kath's legacy compared to Hendrix and Page, one thing I noticed. Chicago never was able to replace Kath. That should speak volumes regarding Terry's skill and legacy.

Yeah. But he's trying way too hard here.

Oh No. Peter Frampton really does not play like this. Just listen to Frampton Comes Alive. The Live album from 1976. This guy here in the video i have no idea who he is and he sounds more like Steve Lukather from TOTO.
