This track was also a would-be single in my opinion IF the powers that be at Atlantic Records had had any musical sense at all. It's also shame that these other great tracks by Chic were generally shorter in length (hence the time-stretching). As with my previous Chic post here on my channel I have created an imaginary 12" Promo cover. Hope you like it!

I've been a chic fan since their first album and I was eight when I heard it. Whoever loaded this joint right here kudos. I've been listening to this song since I've downloaded it. Being a musician my self the reason I love chic is because of the way the take their songs and extend the music into classic break beats for example good times. Long live chic the greatest band ever.

I love this song because it talk about gambling addiction. It trying to tell us that we should gambling in moderation. Same thing for drinking. We are responsible for ourselves and should learn to control our addictions. That what this song is all about. :D :D :D :D :D

Oh maybe you had me fooled here, I did not read your comments completely. Excellent job and the promo is totally funny. So this was never released as a single or as they say an album cut. Maybe I should try my hand at editing songs or extending them. I am just afraid I might mess up and I miss a beat in the wave file. I do digitize some vinyl records I cannot find on CD but I keep the song in tact and clean it up as best as possible to preserve the song(s) and file the vinyl away.

I had always loved this song and thought it could have been a single. The Benard Edwards' bass is omnipresent and that snaking guitar of Nile Rodgers never lets up just like in Sister Sledge's "He's The Greatest Dancer". I made a compilation of Chic's hits and this song got included even if it was not popularly released. Good choice and it is nice to hear an extended version or know one is out there.
