I wrote my Sophomore term paper in high school about Chic in 1978. After the multi-Grammy award winning song "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk, Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, Chic is BACK with the number one club play song this week. Good music is timeless!

The Super Throwback Party

This is a great comeback for one of the greatest groups of the 70's. A rare feat in today's times of plastic repackaged music. Hopefully radio will embrace this as they did Mark Ronson. I don't know if the entire Disco genre will ever comeback in it's original form but at least for this track is has never died and thanks to the emergence of EDM, it's essence still has staying power.
