Last Days is just a great raw sounding song, & Shot From A Canon is an epic piece showcasing length that we haven't gotten before from Chevelle. Your review on both songs are way off, seriously, if you aren't at the very least, tapping your foot to either track then there's something wrong with you. This album has very high replayability. And don't forget the bonus track A Miracle with it's chorus that starts off with such feeling & depth. Your review, which is fair at best, needs more more time put into actually immersing yourself in the music. Although I do commend you for being a fan of their work, you missed the mark on those criticizing points sir.

I still found "Last Days" to be a pretty damn good song and after awhile it'll grow on you. Do I think this album was their best? no. that probably goes to HOTTB. but still this one was great. and will grow on you. <- (like everything they've dropped since their first) is real solid and are all close to being excellent. Saw them Sept 5th 2016 "Myth" in Saint Paul (One of the greatest bands of this generation without a doubt)

For me personally Last Days was one of my favorites with Dean's bass lines and Pete's sort of strained screaming during the chorus and Sam keeping that slow steady beat

Joyride & Punchline my favorite in the new album

Enemies would be so much better if there wasn't the constant snare throughout the song. The final part of the song where there isn't constant snare sounds good.
