I've been like that with every Chevelle Cd. At first I was fairly disappointed with the lack of hardcore sound that permeated from their first 4 albums (minus Point #1) but after just really listening to the album I found this one to be hypnotic and powerful. I had compared their albums as if they had lost their sound but they were evolving into something much greater. (Though I still jam their previous albums all of the time) Meddler and Revenge are my 2 favorites on this one..11 years ago

this song and Clones are my 2 favorite songs from the album. I love the song Clones because it touches on the issue of how so many people think that Chevelle are ripping off bands like Tool or that they "sound" a lot like Tool. While i love both bands, Chevelle and Tool are two completely different and amazing bands.11 years ago
