Bresh actually plays Travis style closer than Atkins--Merle was his father after all--and lets face it--as JOHNNY Cash said as he introduced Travis--"now heres the greatest (guitar player) of them all-- MERLE TRAVIS" --he could do with two fingers what Atkins could not do with five--you just gotta be a guitar player to understand that TRAVIS was the king of country picking like Robert Johnson is the king of slide, and Elvis , the king of rock and roll--

Bresh verry good, like son like dad merle travis, I was about 14 yrs.old and I remember seeing, chet, at mose rager house yrs.ago and Merle Travis,and Grand pa. Jones, Mose Rager was the man, Merle Travis used to follow around Muhlenburg co. and learn to play, that stile Guitar alone with Eike Everly. The Everly Brothers Dad. Chet first heard Merle, and wanted to play like him. J Ray. Drakesboro Ky.
