He was using a small Chet Gretsch, which was my first expensive guitar in 1955, made payments on it for a year. Haven't seen one anywhere for years. Must be very rare now.

@PavaoPaul Jimi and Chet are tied ;) as with Les paul and SRV, Al king, bb king, Muddy, clapton, Page, Satch, Vai, Chuck Berry, ETC! in other words MOST OF THE GUYS BACK IN THE DAY ARE THE BEST :D

A rare clip of Chet playing a Gretsch Rondup as opposed to his usual Country Gent. He could play a cigar box with a broomhandle and it still would have sounded like Chet ! There was only one Chet Atkins...he is sorely missed.

Mr. Clark is (or was???) a fine entertainer and multi-instrumentalist. I saw him playing guitar banjo and fiddle. But the fact remains that Chet IS the master. I have yet to see someone playing with that flawless technique.
