for years i have been looking for this song...lost my dad when i was only 4 and this song was always so dear to me...i was escused from class when they used it for an english lesson...still makes me weep at the age of 36...song with hearth, pure emotion...god bless...and i dont even believe in God

Too bad today’s so-called country musicians cannot or don't want to sing a song like this, well maybe Vince Gill can- Today’s "stars" can't perform without fireworks in the background while jumping all over the stage, making all kinds of racket and weird facial expressions. Vince does not need this "shock" effect - he sings like Chet- and for that I am thankful-
