The first time I ever heard Arrow I was driving in New York City sometime in 1995 and it was played on the radio. I literally had to stop the car because I could barely breathe listening to it. It was possibly the most beautiful song I had ever heard. At the time the record (disc) was not widely available, couldnt be found i stores, and I had to serach for it in the fledgling online insudstry...I finally found it and discovered a treasure that i couldnt stop playing.

I saw her last night in Santa Monica, and this was her closing song. Made me happy as I am originally from Portland and now living in LA. Funny thing is, I walked outside, and what do ya know, it was raining! I think she's invented a raindance song!

I haven't seen her in concert in well over a year now and this song (....and the remarkable Kenny White backing her) gives me the energy and drive to get to one on the East Coast soon.
