Yep, this is my new favorite! She's really awesome....and I've been a fan of hers since I first heard her over 15 years ago! She's gotten virtually zero support from the country music community since coming out.....so for that, I say, fuck 'em all!! Chely, you are a beautiful human being and I wish you continued success. Very well written, I love this song. Sounds like shes singing to a lover she had a history with (maybe the love of her life?) and they wanna come back together after they've been through tough times apart...both broken...yet they both know they still love eachother...but are different than they way they were..yet still have that love...with regrets...with the way things happened...yet wanting..what they had had back.13 years ago

Sometimes it's easy to forget there are still so many people out there struggling, whether it's about coming to terms with their sexuality/gender identity, coming out or living openly.
