Rick Nielsen is one insane #$@%^&* talented and under rated guitarists ! He reminds me of Pete Townshend the way he performs ! He's just missing the wind mills !

Rick Nielson says his on-stage persona was influenced heavily by Pete Townshend of The Who. I wonder if this song was influenced by Townshend's "The Kids are Alright" ...?

Cheap Trick is coming to Tucson with Pat Benatar. That should be a good concert. Love them both.

I did see Loverboy and The Hooters in Columbia in the same month. I saw The Hooters again in July 1987 in Hampton when they opened for Bryan Adams and in January 1990 at The Boathouse. I had planned to go there in November 1987 to see them, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to attend.

Cheap Trick and Reo, good one, I'm sure. I saw several concerts, too, at the Hampton Coliseum, Scope, and Boat House back then. Did you happen to go to the Feb. 7, 1986 Loverboy concert at the Hampton Coliseum (The Hooters opended)? If so, do you happen to still have your ticket stub? Somehow, I lost mine in the race to get a good seat (general admission in those days), so it's one of the few stubs I don't have. Just thought I'd give it a shot!

Cheap Trick had the #1 song in the country at the time (The Flame). I was in the Navy then. I saw lot of concerts in the Hampton Roads area. This was my second time seeing Cheap Trick. I saw them in July 1985 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. They opened for REO Speedwagon.

I was at the Hampton Coliseum concert, too. Still have my ticket stub and pictures I took from the camera I snuck-in. That was 7/22/88; saw the same concert at the Richmond Coliseum two days before! Great concerts! Robert was at the top of his game on that tour, I thought! Miss those days.

I saw Cheap Trick in July 1988 at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. They opened up for Robert Plant.
