American Music Awards (January 1980), Cheap Trick (along with Supertramp and the Bee Gees) were nominated for Favorite Pop/Rock Band/Duo/Group (Bee Gees won). Pretty sure this is a performance from that show, although I'm not sure why there's (what sounds like) a laff-track.
