this would have fitted perfectly on Ash's greatest album Free All Angels. This is my first time hearing this song in years from charlotte hatherley, this song was released when she was still in Ash I believe (her biggest success was with her first solo album Grey will Fade, which got to 51 in the album charts and it was critically acclaimed and the single cracked the top 40). She left soon after been kicked out over creative differences (she didn't like the American sound the band were going for in their new material) and she seems to turned into a session musician ( KT Tunstall and Bat For Lashes) who releases material the odd time. She did a little stint with ASH for their Free All Angel anniversary tour but it wasn't a full blown return. I think many would either know her now as "the Girl who was in Ash" or Edgar Wright's ex girlfriend.
