any person that has a love music will understand branching out and experimenting . If you don't try how do you grow? She probably felt it was time to try something new. She eventually goes back to the classical sound, but It's very electrical and different. Kind of Imogean Heap like. she's just trying to find who she is and where she wants to go vocally. I believe every vocalist goes through similar things. Every body goes through phases to learn who they are, it is hard when you're under a spot light. just my opinion not saying i'm right

I watch your videos on here occasionally, and I know people change and their music changes, but I sure do miss the classical side. enchantment was my favorite cd. I used to practice to it in an effort to hit your range lol. I do have to say 'nerve' hit me.... but I still miss your old stuff. such a beautiful voice!

I had studied voice from one of the most renowned vocal instructors in New Orleans, Louisiana for years and I feel qualified to state that your music has been bordering on mediocrity. I was a big fan of Charlotte Church's earlier classical music. I find the newer music that she has been recording to be a sad example as how someone could throw away a God given gift. Charlotte you had a special classical tone and a uniquely gifted voice at a very early age. I wish and only hope that you would go back to singing classical music. I know that your past vocal teachers are probably wondering the same thing as I. You now sound like any other singer out there instead of the gifted singer you were in the past. I think this is very true in a Logical World.

I think it's beautiful how she will not be boxed in my the world. Everyone loves to label her a classical singer. Good on her for going against the expectations and finding artistic freedom. I have actually really enjoyed every single on of her albums! We shouldn't let preconceptions blur the talent. Listen to the ACTUAL music
