I know Charlotte had owed Sony one more record. But she breached the contract basically saying "f@ck you!" and did her own thing, coming out with with Tissues and Issues. It's in her book.) Anyone know what the penalty is for breaching a contract like that? I'm sure she had to pay them some hefty money?.

@as435943 I agree with a lot of what you say...but I just had to comment to say (albeit through gritted teeth) that I disagree re Lady Gaga,. I was of a similar opinion that she was over-hyped and not as talented as her PR makes out. Then I got free tickets to her concert. All my friends were going so I went - and good God can that girl sing! Her voice is incredible! And some of her lyrics on her lesser known songs are very though provoking. Begrudgingly I concede,she really is quite talented!

AND also I've heard her in interviews saying that she's not bothered if she goes top 10 or even top 100. What matters to her is writing and performing music that she is in control of, has written and is passionate about. I.E she is a true musician and singer and doesn't care about the "celebrity" or "fame" of it all.

I just cannot believe that lower register she has now. Wow. But she sounds totally different than even her last album Tissues and Issues. She sounds better at doing 'Pop" now, which I thought totally failed with T&I. Although I wish she was still in opera... like a lot of people do. She did do some "interesting" version of "Pie Jesu" on this album. I haven't heard the whole thing.

@pking4hjg It's not about being good it's about what sells now. Lady Gaga in a year no one will even know she was on the planet. She's talentless but she sells so she'll have a CD coming out every day until they don't sell. She's all flash. Very few get to make music that is good and doesn't sell to the masses. Charlotte's CD will not sell to the masses. And musicly it's better than most if not all the auto tune crap out there. Sad but true.
