The lyrics, music arrangements are all just unique. I love this man. Charlie does it all the time, when you listen to his music you know it's him. "Unique" I hope maybe some day be able to create music together if not here in heaven...

Charlie Peacock, "Big River"From the Album "No Man's Land" A perfect illustration of why "Americana"This Song by Charlie Peacock shows just how hard it can be to put a label on some music. Is this folk? Too smooth, with impeccable production. Is it country...sometimes. Sometimes not. I hear blues, and gospel, even a little Mo-town. This selection comes off of Charlies recently released Album "No Man's Land." which in turn showcases a full range of Americana/roots/pop arrangements. (Charlie has put out some dozen albums over thirty years. His early albums were largely presented in the Contemporary Christian marketplace, but even then, he distinguished himself for out-of-the industry thinking. He put out albums with heavy jazz and techno-pop overtones, then released a couple of stellar jazz instrumentals. As is, Charlie P. is now known primarily as an emerging heavyweight in Nashville production - but not your typical Nashville sound. His recent projects include The Civil Wars, The Lone Below, and Holly Williams (Hanks daughter). and if you like this, here are a couple more links to stuff off of No Man's Land..CHARLIE PEACOCK - "Let The Dog Back In The House" - featuring Ruby AmanfuCHARLIE PEACOCK - "Death Trap" Official Music VideoPs. I hope I am not posting too much... but when you said "Americana" you hit my music g-spot.CHARLIE PEACOCK - "Big River" live
