Ya know, I am not nor ever been a Dad. But when I heard this song, I realized what I had missed in life by not being a father. I always wished I could have had a family, but life took me in another direction. But when Youtube came along, and I was on the net, I knew I had to post this song. I knew the majority could find some sort of blessing or joy in the song, wether you are a parent or not. And I have always loved Charlie and all his ideas. He should have been one of our Presidents.

Thank you so much for posting this. Every time I hear this it makes me cry, hoping my son realizes the enormity of the love I have for him that is impossible to show. I try, but there is no way to express the depth of the love. And Charlie...you're the man!

It is a great song, isnt it? Charlie doesnt do very many ballads, so this is kind of rare. I dug this out of many old vhs tapes I have. I have always loved this song and so I posted it knowing many might not even be familiar with it. Glad you enjoy it, and thank you for sharing your story.
