@paiburong And of course, that all comes with experience. She's, what, over 2 years more experienced now than when she first sang that song in America? And she's been under David Foster's tutelage? I think she's learned a thing or three in that time and it shows. Her performance here was as strong as I've ever seen, if not moreso due to her experience. Also, as repapips2004 mentioned, this performance was to highlight the song, not Charice and, I think, she sang with that in mind.

Guys please understand... This event is not about CHARICE. This even is about those HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES because of their song. In this case, CHARICE REPRESENTS DAVID FORSTER. - Its all about the ORIGINAL COMPOSITION. This performance refers to the ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENT OF "I HAVE NOTHING". Charice is just SINGING according to the song arrangement. - Those MEDLEY VERSION, those are different arrangement. Medley is arrange to showcase CHARICE TALENT and not the song. - Charice did great.

i noticed her high notes sound a little different than her oprah versions - this is more hoarse & full. I think she's really owning the song w/ her own voice style which to me I think is still great. Although some people may want the version that sounds exactly like Whitney. I'm really impressed how she keeps singing those high notes, I'm sure it can be straining after awhile.

I noticed at 03:10, the middle backup singer gave a hand wave at Charice and shook her head a few seconds later...meaning 'get out of here...that's crazy good'!!! She was the first backup singer to applaud after the end of this tour de force performance! Charice, you rock and made David proud!
