This is a Partisan's song - a partizaner lid - composed by H.Glik and performed in circa mid-60's by Israeli singer Hannah/Chana Roth. SHTIL DI NAKHT in yiddish means "The night is still". From her album "Ani'im zmirot - Yiddish Folk Songs". Edited in Israel,2000.

A moyd mit a sametenem ponim: a girl with a face like silk. That was Vitka Kempner, famous in her own right for being a partisan fighter in WW2 and wife of Abba Kovner. The latter was a witness against Adolf Eichmann in the trial of 1961. Is there anybody who knows the title of the film about Vitka Kempner's fight against the nazis?
