Gavin Castleton great stuff man, but PLEASE, can you (or anybody) help me with this? I don't have that MIDI looper you are using with your feet but I use an APC40. My question is: How should I set the external instrument track so when I record clips live (with a KORG MS2000R for instance) and loop them, still be able to play the same synth over that loop? For example: Record 4 chords along with the rest of the mix, loop them, and then play over that clip using the same hardware, let's say a solo. Can I do this without using the specific Ableton looper? So I can record clips only by hitting a button on the APC40... Thing is, when a clip is playing, even if that track is armed, I'm not able to play over it (on the same track obviously). Sorry for my english. Thank you! 10 years ago
