The lost video!! This is a really cool video directed by David Palmer. It wasn't actually lost, it was just the one that we were talked out of using by our "team." This was the first video we ever did. We then had to shoot it all over again, which is the one you see that's on our favorites here.

I just found my cd of Chalk Farm that was sitting on a back shelf for years and pop it in the player. WOW I FORGOT WHAT A GREAT POWERFUL SONG THIS WAS!!! Had to check out the video on youtube.Wish they could have made it bigger in the industry-they were a band that deserved too.11 years ago

*Chalk FarM*For anyone who might be curious. These are the friends of mine I went to see play last night in Hollywood. They were signed to Columbia Records when this song was released as a single. This band had the absolute magic combination..... Great singer/songwriter in Michael Duff, but also, utterly flawless contributions to every song by each and every member of the band!! Orlando's bass lines added depth and complexity, and Trace's crossing guitar lines added texture, all pinned down by Toby's rock solid drumming! Wow! I love, love, LOVE this version of the video. I've always been a fan and always liked the mainstream version of the video too, but this original version is really something special. I've only just now seen it for the first time... It feels like a "time capsule" present from 1996 and it totally takes me back to that era in the best possible way and brings back so many memories. This version of the video gets directly to the song's emotional core. I really dig the special FX too.12 years ago
