Well Mikael Stanne was a session musician for In Flames rather than an actual member, so I'm not sure if that would really count, but it is interesting how the two bands have interacted.

you're right, i can't even compare modern in flames ot shitty metalcore, because even the shittiest metalcore is better than ASoP and onwards.
