You misinterpret. I said that grindcore is like deathcore in the sense that it mixes death metal and hardcore, however, deathcore is a mix of modern death metal and modern hardcore while grindcore is a mix of old school death metal and old school hardcore. Problems?11 years ago

@kr3w0804 Yeah got an A in english literature actually. Don't you love it when some one quizzes you on stuff and can actually back it up?(note the irony) Just naming genres doesn't mean anything. No matter how you look at it, bands like Pig Destroyer, Origin and Dying Fetus are heavier than Meshuggah, create a better atmosphere and write better music to listen to (in my opinion). I get far more enjoyment from those bands and you showing your knowledge of genre names isn't going to change that ;)13 years ago
