BIOGRAPHY:

Cenotaph was a Mexican death metal band whose origins lie in 1989 and ceased its activity in 2002. Their lyrics dealt initially on gore, maturing through time towards death, hatred and darkness. Cenotaph is considered together with Shub Niggurath as one of the most important extreme metal of Mexico.

The band started in the mid-80s under the name Damned Cross and after a few lineup changes and own releases you opt for the name Cenotaph.

The mercy falls behind the voice of tyranny

and with it's burned eyes cries but fire

The star of tenebrae will terrify the blaze of reality
