I really don't get the premise of the song. On the surface it appears that the two ex's were so bitter at each other and were like "I'm never getting back together with you" a la Taylor Swift. Yet if they were indeed so resolute on never getting back together,why did the man bother to send a message to the woman and why did she even bother to reply.
