"VOYAGE II" is the companion DVD from Celtic Thunder's Public Television Special, VOYAGE filmed in October last year in Kansas City, MO. The first DVD from the show, entitled "VOYAGE" was released in February 2012. Following the incredible success of their last tour, Celtic Thunder has continued exploring their Irish and Celtic roots in their latest Public Television Special and DVD releases.

The ensemble performances in this DVD highlight the diversity of Irish music and song, from the sweet nostalgia of Song For The Mira to the upbeat fan favorites Place In The Choir and Ireland's Call and the raucous Irish Party song, Seven Drunken Nights. "VOYAGE II" features great duet and solo performances also, Keith and Neil face off on guitars in "Whiskey In The Jar", while guest artist 13 year old Daniel Furlong joins with Keith to perform a tongue in cheek version of the Disney classic "You've Got A Friend In Me". The audience claps along to lively solo performances such as Emmet Cahill's "My Irish Molly-O", and Ryan Kelly's take on the Garth Brook hit Friends "In Low Places". George Donaldson delivers a great version of the much-loved ballad "Cat's In The Cradle", a tribute to his music idol, Harry Chapin.

The "VOYAGE" TV Special and the companion DVD bring the viewer on the same journey of musical development that each soloist has undertaken since the beginning of Celtic Thunder four years ago. "VOYAGE" is also the first Celtic Thunder Special where we see all the vocalists pick up a different instrument. Keith, Neil, Ryan and George all play guitar on this DVD while Emmet ups the tempo with the tin whistle and fiddle.

Celtic Thunder "VOYAGE II" takes a journey through the varying styles of Celtic and Irish music, from old and traditional standards such as Song for The Mira and Danny Boy to more contemporary, modern Irish songs "Moondance" and "Whiskey In The Jar", stopping at lively ensembles "Place in the Choir" and 'Seven Drunken Nights" along the way. "VOYAGE II" also offers soulful ballads in "This Is The Moment" and classic love songs such as the "All Out Of Love" and the "Always A Woman" to round out the DVD.

SEVEN DRUNKEN NIGHTS

As I came home on Monday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw a horse outside the door where my old horse should be

So I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns that horse outside the door where my old horse should be?

Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

still you can not see

That's a lovely sow that me mother sent to me

Well, many is a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But a sow with a saddle on sure I never seen before

Now as I came home on Tuesday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw a coat behind the door where my old coat should be

So I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns that coat behind the door where my old coat should be

Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

still you can not see

That's a lovely blanket that me mother sent to me

Well, many is a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But buttons in a blanket sure I never seen before

And as I went home on Wednesday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw a pipe up on the chair where my old pipe should be

Well, I called the wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns that pipe up on the chair where my old pipe should be

Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

still you can not see

That's a lovely tin whistle that me mother sent to me

Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But tobacco in a tin whistle sure I never seen before

And as I went home on Thursday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw two boots beneath the bed where my two boots should be

Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns those boots beneath the bed where my old boots should be

Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

still you can not see

They're two lovely Geranium pots me mother sent to me

Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But laces in Geranium pots I never seen before

And as I went home on Friday night as drunk as drunk could be

I saw a head upon the bed where my old head should be

Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me

Who owns that head upon the bed where my old head should be

Ah, you're drunk,

you're drunk you silly old fool,

Still you can not see

That's a baby boy that my mother send to me

Hey, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more

But a baby boy with wiskers on ive never seen before

Celtic thunder makes me even more proud of my heritage. Seeing the joy in their faces as they perform their music from covers to the songs of the homeland. It warms my heart and brings me joy that i cannot readily put to words.
