I'm an avid listener of true talented hip-hop and occasional R&B music. I've always liked the sound of these hard-core rockers (whatever genre you'd like to call it) but I never got into it too much because it's such an underground music scene. I was introduced to this band about 2 hours ago at a friends house. we watched a dvd of one of their concerts and I was in awe. They have musical concepts i've never even heard of before. they are simply out of this world!

I think you are referring to metalcore. That's not screamo. Try Touche Amore, Pianos Become the Teeth, La Dispute, or even At The Drive In if you would like to know what actual screamo is.
