My Heart Will Go On voted #7 on a list of the worst song of the 90s? It's funny because a lot of the comments on that site are wondering why it's even listed there. The entire list is more along the lines of the most overplayed songs of the 90s.

that's really true. i don't think she even gets involved in the industry so much, like she's ALWAYS with her family, which is great. Because looking at Hollywood these days... I think celebs lose it cuz they lose sight of what's truly important in life. And I don't think Celine lost it at all. :)

Titanic is still the highest-grossing film in Box Office history! Largely due to "my heart will go on". So these people who voted in that Rolling Stone poll obviously had no idea what they were doing.

The problem with My Heart Will Go On in the 90s' is that everyone played the hell out of it. It's definitely NOT a bad song. It's a very very good song. But everyone began to resent it the more they heard it played too much. So really it was because it was so popular that everyone began to hate it.

My mouth dropped open when they said that "My Heart Will Go On" was one of the worst songs of the 90s... not at all. That song is, as Celine said, a classic. Perhaps it was overplayed at the time, but it's a timeless song. Period.

Who in hell pays attention to "The Rolling Stone?" It's one of the worse magazines and everything about it appalls me. "My Heart Will Go On" was, in my opinion (and fact), one of the BEST songs of the '90s. Most recognizable too. The reason "Rolling Stone" doesn't like it is because it's not a hard rock, head-pounding song. It's a song from the heart. "Rolling Stone" doesn't like anything with a heart...so they can suck it big time. "MY HEART WILL GO ON" AND CELINE DION ROCK!!!!!!!~~~~~~
