Ruth SwitzerAlthough the group sounded close and supportive (and became so after they got to know each other) the ironic truth was that Cathy Jean Giordano and The Roomates never even met each other until after the record was made. They were two separate Valmor Record acts put together by the company and wisely so.First the Steve Suskind led Roomates put down the harmony to the music and later on the track was given to Cathy Jean who had to sing lead over the harmony and music which can explain why her pitch may have been a little off but actually these were first rate and highly talented singers.

This song is tuff ! I thought all these years that she was Black. These Youtube videos are really a shocker when you discover who was who, and as for Frankie Valli, he's another one I thought was Black, since, at first, they didn't address Frankie Valli, it was simply, the Four Seasons.

Oh to be back to the time when we danced and kissed to the music of the fifties and sixties so many beautiful songs and fabulous groups that truly sang from the heart. I hope the singers got some earthly rewards for all of their music that made our lives so much better. We will never see or hear music like this again because our country has slowly deteriorated into a sad and destructive path. I was lucky enough to have been born at the closing of world war 2 and I got to live through the ages of the classics from the late twenties to the end of the disco era (I loved dancing at the big beautiful private disco clubs) Such as Elan's in Houston. I even got to live in Houston during the country and western music explosion and went to the hottest place in Houston called Cowboys. When I lived in Memphis I got to go to the movies with Elvis at the Memphian Theater (Elvis worked there as an usher when he was growing up. I have had a wonderful life. Thanks for posting this great old song and I hope everyone has a great day .,,Chris

Well for "Heavens Sakes", all these years I thought this singer was "Black". Wow! "Picture" that! Love the song and the singer.
