@blackshogun77 the performer was in the studio singing that song. but there was no acoustic drum set, no electric bass/guitar involved in the production process of the song, so why do they put them on stage?

@iwantahat wanted, british stars had to perform to lip synching tracks, but at least pretend to be performing live to keep up appearences. Other wise, why even have the performer there. It's all about stage presentation over actual ability. hmmmmm kind of like now. But 80's 90's musioc will alway sbe the best.

She doesn't. Listen closely - she sings above the backtrack. Especially at the end. I don't understand why she never had a real solo career. But she's also brillant in songwriting and producing.
