Cathedral sin lugar a dudas y gracias a su extensa trayectoria, logró consagrarse como una de las agrupaciones imprescindibles dentro del circuito Doom. "Forest of Equilibrium", "The Ethereal Mirror" y "The Carnival Bizarre", son tan solo una parte de la magia y sentimiento ofrendado por este cuarteto británico.
Tras 20 años de "carnaval bizarro", los oriundos de Coventry deciden poner fin a este viaje con un último trabajo próximo a editarse durante el 2012, titulado "The Last Spire".
