The subtitle of the song was 'the ex files'. That should give the lyrics more context.

So funny how there are two huge photos of Mulder and Scully (never thought I'd see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson on Top Of The Pops! lol) on the sides! :P Wish the song was really about them, though! It's kind of pointless, especially since the band didn't even love nor care about the show. But oh well, it made good publicity for both the band and the show, I guess! Thank you for posting!
