I bought Izitso back when it first came out, on LP and cassette! I feel so old... well, I guess I am. My favourite track on the album was Kypros. I can never hear it enough. This was played at a wedding I attended in Germany, and I made sure I got up and danced! Ah, memories.

I have struggled to identify this track since November 1979, when they put it on the BBC's test card for a time (the "Baby I'm A Want You" track covering 1970s hits that they put out during their legendary trade test transmissions). And now, tonight, I finally have. :)

Like so many, I love this and all Cat's work. But, I must say that when this came out (was it the same year as the solo Macartney LP?) I felt as if music was ending, dying so to speak. This particular song, for example, is filler which I doubt Cat even played on. I'm not being critical in the least, just offering a different perspective. For me, this was the beginning of the end. And, I haven't seen much of a revival since. Of course, I am old, but I'm happy ...
