my dad used to play this for me when we would drive together. its one of my first memories. i grew up on cat power's music, i basically went full circle and listen to very similar artists now, my dad taught me well

This is a great example of ego getting in the way of making a superstar. Dave Grohl was a major contributor to this song which of course included playing the drums. Ms. Power said that she didn't like the way the song was taken over and thus none of her other music sounds anything like this song. She is an artist and has the right to take her music is any direction she wants but in my opinion if she had been more open she could have been a much bigger star than she is now. I know a lot of her fans will say that she is popular enough and Cat would probably agree with them but it world of talented musicians I don't think it would have been seen as bad advice to take some musical direction for a guy who has been a part of two of the greatest bands in rock music history.

This guy's been spamming the same message on many videos. Thus far I've seen him claiming to be bettert than PJ Harvey, and Tom Waits, in addition to now Cat Power. He certainly doesn't lack in confidence. Severely lacking in social intelligence though, if he thinks he'll gain fans with such self-praise.
