I feel the need to share this because I'm seeing a lot about Christmas on here and to me this not a Christmas song this song should be played more I love this song and casting crowns is an amazing band but the church has lied to all of us Christ was not born on Christmas Christmas is a pagan holiday and word says beware the ways of the pagans and if we ate suppose to be Christ like why are we not celebrating the feast that God himself designed and Easter is also a pagan holiday where they would kill innocent new born babies maybe people should do more research and not just follow someone else's lead I pray this will touch someone's heart in the name yesusha amen god bless you all

'Under God' wasn't in the original Pledge of Allegiance. The original pledge was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy, a Baptist minister and Christian socialist. 'Under God' was added in 1954, despite the fact that it was unconstitutional. But I have a better question: what happened to liberty and justice FOR ALL?

When was America ever 'a Christian nation'?? More than 20% practice religions other than Christianity or no religion at all. One of the primary founding principles of the United States was freedom OF religion as well as freedom FROM religion. Separation of church and state is a very good thing. If you don't believe me, consider how well theocratic government is working for Iran. The last thing we need is a political party hijacking Christianity to secure absolute power.
