When I was nearly 15, at the end of 2006, my Grandad married a woman because he was lonely. We all recognised she was a gold-digger and just out for his money and the money of his children (my Grandma having died in 2002), including my mother's. We all tried to stop him, but he married her anyway. He was getting very sick at the time and had water in the lungs caused by lung cancer (asbestos, not smoking). Indeed, he only lived three months after the wedding. We all thought perhaps we were wrong about her because she lay low for a bit. After Grandad's death on February 9, 2007 though, she moved in for the kill. That year was a very horrible one. It was this song that gave my mother hope. And for that reason it is very precious to me. We won the court case, but that was because my aunt is into law and knew her contacts. Our lawyer was so good he made Ella's back down. "I WROTE that piece of legislation!!!" My Grandad, I think, was her fourth husband, and I think my Mum's family, the Tolmies, were probably the only ones that won that I know of. Ella is a very evil woman, but we've all forgiven her. It has left it's mark though. This song is very precious to my mother, and very precious to me <3
