The live Casper movie was in general a big shock in its release. It was a true hybrid in Hollywood films, lying somewhere between a children's movie and an adult drama.

This movie always makes me cry. I guess becoming a father made me soft. I cry a lot with movies or documentary concerning children lately. Beautiful movie though. I'm glad I was a kid myself when it came out so I can treasure memories when I watch it.
